Because adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse often feel they are alone in their experiences; it is no wonder comfort is needed all throughout their healing journey. Only the Creator who gave His life on the cross, and endured the worst death imaginable as a completely innocent and sinless man can give survivors the great comfort they so badly need. Therefore, He is the Expert at giving comfort because He sent the Holy Spirit to be our comforter and His Word to be our guide into peace and a sound mind.
